At Thringstone, our uniform is simple, practical and affordable. It helps children feel part of our school community, promotes a sense of belonging and ensures everyone is ready to learn.

Children do not need to wear branded or logo items. Plain red, white, grey or black clothing from any retailer is perfectly acceptable.

Our school colours are red, white, grey and black.

Core Uniform

• Red sweatshirt, jumper or cardigan
• White or red polo shirt
• Grey or black trousers, skirt, pinafore dress or shorts
• Red gingham dress or red gingham culottes during the summer term
• Black or other dark, sensible shoes

PE Kit

• Red or white T-shirt
• Plain black or dark shorts or leggings
• Trainers for outdoor PE
• Plimsolls for indoor PE

For safety, long hair should be tied back during appropriate activities. Jewellery should not be worn, apart from stud earrings, watches and items worn for religious or cultural reasons. Smart watches should not be worn in school.

We understand that circumstances can change, and we never want uniform to become a barrier to attending school. If you ever need support, please contact the school office. We will always do our best to help.

Branded Uniform

Branded sweatshirts, cardigans and other uniform items are available to purchase if you wish, but they are entirely optional. Plain uniform from supermarkets and high street retailers is equally suitable.
