PTA (Parent Association)

Our PTA is an important part of life at Thringstone Primary School. Made up of parents and carers, the committee works closely with the school to organise events, raise funds and help create even more opportunities for our children.

From school discos and raffles to seasonal events and ice cream sales, the PTA brings families together while raising money to provide those extra experiences and resources that enhance school life.

Supporting Our School

Every event, donation and volunteer hour helps make a difference. Funds raised by the PTA are used to enhance school life by providing additional resources, improving our learning environment and supporting memorable experiences for our children.

The playground markings shown below are one recent example of the positive impact PTA fundraising has had, creating more opportunities for active play, games and learning during breaktimes.

Get Involved

New members are always welcome.

You don't need to attend every meeting or help at every event to make a valuable contribution. Whether you can spare an hour to volunteer, donate a raffle prize or simply support events with your family, every contribution is appreciated.

Meetings are friendly and informal, providing a great opportunity to meet other parents and carers while supporting the school community.
