Welcome to Eagles, where children continue to develop as confident, resilient and independent learners while preparing for the next stage of their education.
Mr Duffy, supported by our Learning Support Assistants, creates a calm, welcoming and purposeful classroom where every child is encouraged to achieve their very best. Guided by our vision, Believe and Achieve Together, children develop confidence, responsibility and resilience as they deepen their knowledge and become increasingly independent in their learning.
Year 5 and Year 6 are exciting years of challenge and opportunity. Children tackle increasingly ambitious learning across the curriculum, think critically, solve problems and apply their knowledge in a wide range of contexts. They are encouraged to show leadership, support others and take pride in their achievements as they prepare for the opportunities that lie ahead.
Alongside their classroom learning, children enjoy educational visits, residential experiences and wider opportunities that enrich the curriculum. Year 5 children take part in a collaborative Religious Education Day, while Year 6 children enjoy a Pre-Transition Team Building Day, helping to build confidence and prepare for the move to secondary school.
