Every child at Thringstone belongs to a house team. It’s part of how we build community, celebrate success and grow teamwork across the school.
Our houses are named after trees you’ll find on our grounds – Ash, Birch, Oak and Willow – chosen by the children in a school-wide vote. The idea came from a pupil competition and reflects our location near the National Forest.
Children earn house points for effort, kindness and great behaviour. Points are collected each week and the totals are shared in our 'Believe and Achieve Assembly' every Friday. The winning house receives the House Cup.
Each house is led by two House Captains who model our school values and help keep the team spirit alive.
